The Trio teams up with Nosecone & Bobcat once again!

March 10, 2014

If you know us you know we love us some Nosecone Prophets and some Bobcat Goblin! We4’ve teamed up and formed this Voltron of rock before but it’s time to do it again this Friday night at The Lantern Tavern in Rome! It’s a place in Rome that we’ve never played before so we’re definitely looking forward to this one! Of course, on this evening it will be called the “Green” Lantern since we’ll be doing our best salute to St. Patty’s day and all of it’s glory. We’ll see y’all Floyd County Freaks there!

Happy Birthday Old Burnt Turn Slick!

March 1, 2014

Image

Yes, yes, we are celebrating Old Burnt’s Birthday today! The original founder of Steamsaw Productions, chief songwriter for BadLand Bad Boy, etc., and drummer for Muletide Perkins Trio, Old Burnt is the foundation and we appreciate the shit out of him. May Burgess Meredith whisper his name on the other side. Peace, bros.

Great Times Had on WRFG

March 1, 2014

WRFG Peach state2Yessir, we had a great time hanging out with some good folks at Radio Free Georgia WRFG 89.3 FM on the Peach State Festival radio show this past Wednesday (2/26). The one and only Arlo Finch invited ol’ Muletide and McGizzle to join them for some live acoustic music and the outcome was pleasantly raw, organic, and unrehearsed. Arlo Finch & The Green Jungle Band opened the show with Arlo (of course) featuring Sean Bennett on the cajon and Carey Durham on the violin. Then Tide and McG went in and slopped it up for a spell. We loved everything about it. Many thanks to J.R. Langwell for being a most hospitable host for a great session.
